Horse riding camp day 3

Hello everyone! Today was such a fun and exciting day at camp. I started my morning by waking up at 7:15. I went downstairs and made myself some breakfast, two eggs and two slices of bread. For lunch, I packed some tasty noodles. After eating, I brushed my teeth and changed into my riding clothes, ready for the day ahead. Once we got to the barn, it was time to ride! Today we were split into groups, and I was with two of my friends, which made it even more fun. We started off by walking while doing “stand up and stay up,” which was a great warm-up. Then we moved on to trotting in two-point, and after that, we cantered! One of the coolest parts was weaving through cones. It was a fun challenge and helped us work on control and focus. After that, we practiced circling in each corner of the arena. When we were in the circles, we worked on shortening our horse’s stride, and outside the circles, we practiced lengthening it. We did that for a while before finishing with cantering in a cir...

Horse riding camp day 2

Welcome back to my horse riding camp vlog, it's day two, and it was such a fun and eventful day! This morning, I woke up around 7 a.m. because everyone in the house had places to be, so I got an early start too. I made myself breakfast, just a glass of milk and a slice of toasted bread — simple but filling. Then I packed my lunch: a sandwich, some fruit (because I love fruit!), and a few snacks. After that, I got ready for the day, packed up my things, and headed off to the barn. My trainer was already there, and not long after, my friend arrived too! We waited together as more people started to show up. My friend rode first, so we watched her lesson. She was doing jumps, and not just small ones, she was clearing 3 feet! It was really fun to watch her ride. While others were getting ready for their lessons, we also learned how to braid a horse’s mane. It’s different from braiding human hair,  there’s a special technique, especially for competitions and shows. It was so cool to lea...

Horse riding camp day 1

Hello! Today I had horse riding camp, and it was so much fun! I woke up around 7:30 to pack my lunch and some snacks, then got ready for the day. I left the house around 8:30 and headed to the barn. I forgot my helmet today (oops!), which was pretty silly of me, especially since I really needed it. Luckily, I was able to borrow one from the barn, so it all worked out. I arrived right at 9:00 and started the day by decorating a notebook. We’re using these notebooks to track our progress and also observe how other riders are doing. After that, we had our own sort of private lessons. Two girls rode before me, and while I was waiting for my turn, we worked on leg wraps. Wraps are used when a horse is injured, and they help support and protect the horse’s legs. It was actually really cool learning how to do that. Then it was my turn to ride. The lesson was really interesting. We started with a warm-up, walking and practicing a position called “stand-up and stay,” which helps you find the c...

Storyy!!

One day, Bloom, a regular 16-year-old girl, wandered the park with her bunny, Kiko. Suddenly, they heard a soft fluttering sound and turned to see a tiny glowing fairy. "Hello, Bloom," the fairy said. "You’re special. You have the potential to become a fairy." Bloom was stunned. "Me? A fairy?" The fairy nodded. "Yes, but you must believe in your magic." The fairy touched Bloom’s hand, and a warm light surrounded her. Her clothes shimmered, and delicate wings sprouted from her back. "You are now the fairy of light," the fairy said. With a smile, Bloom looked at Kiko. "Let’s go," she said, ready to begin her new adventure.

Camp volunteering day 1

Today was a really fun and exciting day because I got to volunteer at a horse riding camp! I arrived around 8:30 a.m. and put my stuff away in the volunteer room. One of my friends was already there, so we spent a little time chatting before one of the trainers came in. She showed us how to make the horses’ food and explained how much hay and grain each horse needed. After that, we helped lead some of the horses in from the field and into their stables. As the kids began to arrive, I found out one of my other friends was also volunteering for the half-day program. While we waited for the rest of the campers to show up, we played a fun game of animal charades with the kids, which helped everyone feel more relaxed and ready for the day. Once all the campers were there, the volunteers started grabbing horses for them, and I was assigned a pony named Cappy. Some of the kids already knew how to brush the horses, but others were brand new, so I helped a few of them learn how to groom Cappy p...
